What is Petite Ave?

Petite Ave is a clothing styling service for women under 5'5''. We can help you find anything from a pair of jeans to a dress for a friend's wedding. We aim to simplify the shopping experience for women under 5'5'' (regardless of size!).

How does it work?

You start by filling out a style profile. From there, our stylists get to work to find pieces that suit your style, size, and budget. 

Before shipping out your first package, we send images of the pieces we've picked for you. After reviewing your feedback, we rework our selections and send out your package.

Once you receive the package, you have five days to try on everything, decide on your favorites, and send anything you don't want back (with free shipping both ways).

Why should I try Petite Ave?

It's easy and will give you lots of valuable time back! Instead of trying on piles of clothing before finding something that fits, you'll receive pieces that fit straight out of the box. We ensure that every piece we send fits just right by asking for your measurements in the style survey.

Which brands do you carry?

We carry a large variety including Vince Camuto, Bobeau, Tahari, Liverpool, Vero Moda, Jessica Howard, Nic + Zoe, and Joe's Jeans, to name a few. We also have a private label line.

How often do I receive a shipment?

You can decide to receive a shipment once a month, every other month, or once a quarter, which you'll indicate in your style survey, and you can cancel anytime.

How much does it cost?

You pay for what you keep, and we do our very best to send pieces within the budget specified in your style profile.

We charge a $25 styling fee upfront that's used as credit towards any pieces you keep. Unfortunately, if you decide not to keep anything, the fee does not roll over to your next shipment.

Why do I see a $150 charge on my credit card?

We place a temporary hold on your card for $150 before shipment. Once we receive your returns, we'll release the full amount. This is a simple safeguard to protect against theft and fraud.

Why didn't I receive a preview before my second shipment?

We only send a preview before the first shipment. For all subsequent shipments, we will select items that closely match the feedback you've provided and the preferences you've outlined in your style survey. If you have a Pinterest fashion board, you are welcome to share the link within your account.

How do I make changes to my style survey?

To update your preferences, please log into your account to leave a note for your stylist or fill out a new survey. We are developing a dynamic style survey and hope to launch it soon.

How much time do I have to try on the clothing?

The try-on period is five days. If you need more time, you can request an extension by logging into your account and clicking on 'Shipment Schedule' on the left-hand side. Please keep in mind the extension button becomes available several hours after your package is delivered.

Please note: we don't accept returns after the try-on (and extension) period. If the items are shipped back after this time period, they will be returned to you.

How do I return the items I don’t plan to keep?

Please use the prepaid poly mailer included in your package to return your items. You can drop off your package at your local post office or request a pick-up by clicking here.

If I need a different size, do you offer exchanges?

Absolutely! Please let us know at checkout, and we'd be happy to see if we have another size in stock. 

What sizes do you carry?

We carry 00P - 16P with a limited selection of plus-size petites. We're always working to expand our inventory.

How can I change my shipping frequency or cancel my subscription? 

Please log-in to your Petite Ave account and click on 'account' on the left-hand side. 

Where do you ship?

At the moment, we only ship within the US and its territories.
